The Build-Up

Six microns of protection you'll never see.

A coating isn't paint and it isn't wax. It's a permanent, glass-like film built over a corrected finish — measured in microns, bonded at a molecular level, and impossible to wipe away.

Each layer does one job: correct the base, seal it, then crown it with a hydrophobic surface that sends water — and the dirt it carries — straight off the panel.

What It Does
Depth

A wet, liquid gloss that reads deeper than the day the car left the factory.

Repels

Water beads and rolls off, carrying dust and grime with it. Far less washing.

Shields

UV, bird etching, road salt and chemical stains kept off the clear coat.

Lasts

Years, not months — a permanent bond that won't wash away like wax or sealant.

Three Tiers

Choose the depth.

Every tier is hand-applied over a corrected finish and guaranteed in writing. The difference is layers, longevity and the level of correction beneath.

Questions
How is a coating different from wax?

Wax sits on top of the paint and washes away in weeks. A ceramic coating chemically bonds to the clear coat to form a permanent, glass-hard layer measured in years — far more durable, far more hydrophobic, and impossible to wipe off.

Does my paint need correcting first?

Always. A coating locks in whatever is beneath it, so any swirl or scratch would be sealed in permanently. We correct the finish under controlled light first — the depth you see afterwards comes from that work as much as the coating itself.

How do I maintain a coated car?

Far less effort than you would expect. A simple rinse and a pH-neutral wash is enough — dirt struggles to bond, water sheets off, and you will never need to wax again. We provide an aftercare sheet and a complimentary first maintenance wash.

Is the warranty real?

Yes, and it is signed by the craftsman who applied the coating. Coverage runs from two to nine years depending on tier, with annual inspections available to keep it valid and the finish at its best.

The Craft of Protection

What it really means
to protect a car.

Everything we believe about ceramic coating, paint protection film, correction and detailing — the long version, for the people who actually read it.

Protection is a decision, not a product.

Most owners arrive with a single question — will it still look like this in five years? The honest answer is longer than any price list, because a great finish is never one product. It is a sequence of decisions made under controlled light, by hands that have read thousands of panels.

At Motorskin we begin by measuring the paint, not selling to it. Only once we know what is actually there do we choose the right armour: a ceramic coating for depth and chemistry, self-healing paint protection film where the road throws stones, or a meticulous detail when a car simply needs to remember what new felt like.

Why correction comes before everything.

A coating or film locks in whatever lies beneath it — so any swirl, hologram or wash mark left in the clear coat is sealed in permanently. That is why paint correction is never optional for us. Under our lights we refine the surface to a single, uninterrupted reflection before a drop of ceramic is ever applied.

The depth you see afterwards comes as much from that correction as from the coating itself. Skip it, and you have merely preserved the flaws. Do it properly, and the car reads deeper than the day it left the factory.

Coating, film, or both.

A nine-year ceramic coating gives a hard, hydrophobic surface: water sheets away carrying dirt with it, UV and chemical stains are held off the paint, and washing becomes a rinse rather than a ritual. Paint protection film answers a different threat — the physical one. Cut to a custom pattern with wrapped edges, its self-healing layer takes stone chips and light scratches the road will always throw.

On the cars that matter most, we combine them: film over the high-impact panels, ceramic over the whole body for a single, seamless depth. One protects against the world; the other makes it shine.

One car at a time, in Nice.

We work by appointment from a sealed, light-controlled atelier on the Côte d'Azur — one car in the bay at a time, finished by the same craftsman from first measurement to final inspection. Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls-Royce or the everyday car you happen to love: the badge changes, the standard never does.

Every project is photographed, logged and guaranteed in writing — because the only finish worth talking about is the one still holding years after you have forgotten we ever touched it.
