Ceramic Coating

A liquid-glass layer that bonds to the clear coat, locking in depth and shrugging off water, dirt and UV for years. The finish that makes a great car look permanently just-detailed.

▷ preview

Paint Correction

Multi-stage machine polishing that lifts swirls, holograms and oxidation to a single, uninterrupted mirror — read and measured under controlled light before a pad ever touches the panel.

Paint Protection Film

A self-healing urethane film cut to a custom pattern, guarding against stone chips and road debris with wrapped edges and no visible seams. Protection you have to be told is there.

Bespoke Detailing

A meticulous, top-to-bottom renewal finished to concours standard — every surface inside and out brought back by hand over days, not hours.

Concours Preparation

Show-day preparation where a single fingerprint can cost a class. Weeks of measured work to present a car exactly as the judges — and the marque — intend it to be seen.

They treated my 911 as if it were the last one on earth. The finish is deeper than the day it left the factory.

About Motorskin
Nice · Côte d'Azur

We don't detail cars. We protect the obsessions people build their lives around.

Motorskin isn't just a detailing studio. It's a small team for whom quality has always mattered more than speed or volume. Our technical work answers to Andrey, in detailing, correction and protection film since 2010 and founder of a respected Lviv studio that served the official BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche dealerships.

Alongside him, Kirill looks after every client and project — so the craft stays the craft. We're not here to be the biggest studio on the Côte d'Azur, only the one people trust with the cars they care about most.

Frequently Asked
01How long does a ceramic coating actually last?
Between two and nine years, depending on how many layers we apply and how the car is kept. A coating bonds to the clear coat to form a hard, hydrophobic surface — dirt struggles to grip, water sheets straight off, and you'll never wax again. We back every tier in writing.
02Coating, film or correction — which does my car need?
Usually a combination, and the honest answer comes after we've seen the paint. Correction removes what's already there; a ceramic coating locks in gloss and chemistry; paint protection film takes the physical hits. Bring the car in and we'll tell you plainly — sometimes it's less than you'd expect.
03Is paint protection film really invisible?
When it's cut and laid properly, yes. We use self-healing urethane film on a custom pattern with edges wrapped into the panel gaps — no lifted seams at the bonnet, mirrors or sills. Light scratches close themselves with heat. You have to be told it's there.
04Do you only work on supercars?
No. A Ferrari and a treasured family car get the exact same hands and the same standard. What matters to us isn't the badge — it's that the car matters to you.
05How long will my car be with you?
Most projects run three to six days — correction, protection and curing can't be rushed without cutting a corner, and we don't cut corners. Everything is by appointment at the Nice atelier, so the bay is yours alone while the work is done.
06What does the warranty actually cover?
The performance of the coating or film for its full term — gloss, hydrophobics and protection — signed by the craftsman who did the work, with optional annual inspections to keep it valid and the finish at its best.
Still deciding?
The Craft of Protection

What it really means
to protect a car.

Everything we believe about ceramic coating, paint protection film, correction and detailing — the long version, for the people who actually read it.

Protection is a decision, not a product.

Most owners arrive with a single question — will it still look like this in five years? The honest answer is longer than any price list, because a great finish is never one product. It is a sequence of decisions made under controlled light, by hands that have read thousands of panels.

At Motorskin we begin by measuring the paint, not selling to it. Only once we know what is actually there do we choose the right armour: a ceramic coating for depth and chemistry, self-healing paint protection film where the road throws stones, or a meticulous detail when a car simply needs to remember what new felt like.

Why correction comes before everything.

A coating or film locks in whatever lies beneath it — so any swirl, hologram or wash mark left in the clear coat is sealed in permanently. That is why paint correction is never optional for us. Under our lights we refine the surface to a single, uninterrupted reflection before a drop of ceramic is ever applied.

The depth you see afterwards comes as much from that correction as from the coating itself. Skip it, and you have merely preserved the flaws. Do it properly, and the car reads deeper than the day it left the factory.

Coating, film, or both.

A nine-year ceramic coating gives a hard, hydrophobic surface: water sheets away carrying dirt with it, UV and chemical stains are held off the paint, and washing becomes a rinse rather than a ritual. Paint protection film answers a different threat — the physical one. Cut to a custom pattern with wrapped edges, its self-healing layer takes stone chips and light scratches the road will always throw.

On the cars that matter most, we combine them: film over the high-impact panels, ceramic over the whole body for a single, seamless depth. One protects against the world; the other makes it shine.

One car at a time, in Nice.

We work by appointment from a sealed, light-controlled atelier on the Côte d'Azur — one car in the bay at a time, finished by the same craftsman from first measurement to final inspection. Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls-Royce or the everyday car you happen to love: the badge changes, the standard never does.

Every project is photographed, logged and guaranteed in writing — because the only finish worth talking about is the one still holding years after you have forgotten we ever touched it.
